Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Jay. I am a mixed breed and was rescued from a Houston shelter. I weigh around 51 lbs. I will be 3 years old in March. I am house broken and use a bell hanging on the door to tell my mom when I want to go out. I was crate trained as a puppy, but have not used a crate in a few years. I have a lot of energy so I love to play and run outside. Bones are my favorite treat! I am great with other dogs, but have never been around cats. I prefer another dog in the house to keep me company when I am alone during the day. I know how to sit and stay. I love people and usually snuggle with my mom at night.
Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once
approved a meet and greet with the dog. Please note that preference is given to adopters in
Wisconsin, but out of state adoptions will be considered. Adoption fee is $250.
