HAPPY's Story...
MEET HAPPY!
He has 3 foster dog sisters that he absolutely loves to play with! He also loves his cat foster brother who he plays with (mostly the cat beats him up), but they also like to cuddle.
He is potty trained as long as he is let out regularly. He is growing out of his chewing phase, but we still keep a close eye on him. I also can't remember the last time he chewed anything. He needs a little bit of training not to jump still. He would do best living with another dog. He loves chewy bones, pulling on the rope with his foster sisters, running in the backyard and cuddling! He is so very sweet!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

HAPPY, a Charlotte Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer for sale in Charlotte, or seeking a Pointer dog from a breeder in Charlotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer breeders who help with Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
