Important Note

JAPEDO - DECLAWED CHAP is best friends with SAHARA - DECLAWED DARLING. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
These two darling little siblings are going to need a new home in a few weeks as of date of this posting, January 19th. There are legitimate medical issues necessitating their needing new home. We prefer they stay together as they are friends and have been with each other all their lives.

This bio was prepared by the current owner who is doing everything right and even taking action without waiting for it to be a crisis, usually those are most common cases we get.

Japedo and Sahara are brother and sister, born in the same litter 12 years ago. They are very quiet kitties with an occasional meow here and there. Sahara can be a little shy at first, but when she comes around all she wants to do is cuddle. Japedo usually is the bold kitty that will approach first with curiosity. Both will nestle up next to you on the couch and just hangout. When sitting behind someone, Japedo will sometimes need that persons back, without front claws it feels like a mesage. They lived with a dog for eight years. All three of them got along great and lived together in harmony. Whoever adopts these black beauties will have two great kitties that will bring joy too your life. The Twins are low maintenance and only ask to be loved. Their meals are very important to them and they will let you know if you are late feeding them too. When sleeping, they almost always will be rite next to each other touching. They have lived in 3 houses and have always been indoor cats. Japedo does get curious about the outside and will walk over to an open door to see whats out there. They both love laying in front of a sun filled window too. Japedo and Sahara have brought my family and I a lot of joy over the last 12 years and we will miss them very much.

About LiFeline Adoptions, Inc - Adoptions always 25.00

About Our Rescue Group...

Operating in Rochester, we foster-to-adopt special needs cats such as seniors, FIV+, blind, deaf or crippled, or un-weaned kittens. We foster until a forever home is found. We help cat's with special circumstances such as risk of sudden displacement. We also will rehab sick or injured cats to make them adopt-ready. All cats are spay/neutered, fully vetted and micro-chipped.

n the spirit of community responsibility to all pets, we offer very low cost microchipping to any pet. We ask 25.00 and there is a one-time registration of 10.99, for life. We will consider lowering the price depending on circumstances as well. We can insert the chip or provide it to you for your vet to insert. Additionally, we will help you transfer your chip to the Home Again/Petfinder program relieving you of any annual renewals!

Come Meet Our Pets...

We show pets at various places. See our site calender page for details on where and when we show cats. We average two events per week - both weekend end days and occasionally an evening such as Friday.

Our Adoption Process...

We prefer to do same-day adoptions after completing a screen form and interview by two LiFeline members. We base our decision on a number of factors but also ask adopters to sign agreement to allow us to do vet check if vet is closed and a landlord check if applicable. We ask about steady income sources as well as ask adopter to agree to a home visit following adoption.
An adoption donation is required of at least 25.00 but more is appreciated. We will bring the cat or kitten to you for a visit and/or the adoption! Each adoption comes with 25.00 Petsaver Store voucher and Free Cat or Kitten Health Exam Certificate, as well as complimentary in-home nail clipping from our groomer and free scratch pad.
If for reasons that are things that cannot be worked out after reasonable effort if in regards to the cat we will take back and provide a different one.
