Meet little Maci. She was seized by animal control along with 3 other dogs and taken to a high kill shelter. One of those other dogs was her 7 week old puppy. Maci and her puppy went to a FOR foster home where they are learning that people can be kind, and loving and trustworthy. Her little puppy was adopted out to a wonderful home just recently and now it is Maci’s turn to find a loving forever home. At only about a year and a half and 20 lbs, she is still a puppy herself, but her previous life was not too kind to her. She is starting to blossom under the care and attention that she is getting in her foster home, but can still be shy when she first meets you. Once she knows that you are kind, she will be your most loyal, devoted friend. She is a beautiful little beagle mix with the most adorable ears!! Her ears stick out to the side, (almost as if she has antennas or if she is getting ready to fly), and she is very attentive to her surroundings. Maci has a sweet, gentle personality and gets along well with the three dogs and cat in her foster home as well as the puppies that are being fostered there too. She loves lying next to one of her foster parents on the couch and will sit and watch TV with you. She rides well in the car – her favorite place is the passenger seat in front where she can be the copilot. Maci would do well with someone who is home most of the day to give her the loving, attention that she deserves. She is very quiet, but is a Velcro dog and wants to be close to her people. She is the perfect size to take with you wherever you want to go. Maci is crated trained, but would love to have a spot on the bed with you – she doesn’t take up much room. J This precious little girl is so deserving of a good home. Maci is being fostered in Huntsville, Al. Do you have room in your home and heart for this sweet baby?
