Meet Espresso of the Coffee Crew Litter, now "Raven"

Raven was formerly Espresso of Bella-Reed Pit Bull Rescue's "Coffee Crew Litter." The 6 siblings were bottle fed puppies in our rescue after their mom was bred during her first heat and did not know how to care for them at such a young age. The pups were born on 8/1/14.

The Coffee Crew sisters were all adopted out at 10 weeks of age. Momma dog Hazelnut was adopted as well. Raven and her sisters are now 2 years of age.

Raven had an incredible home! Her mom Crystal loved her dearly and they were inseparable. Unfortunately this past month, Crystal suddenly passed and there was no one left to care for Raven. Bella-Reed helped out Crystal's family during this terrible tragedy and took Raven back in to our care - we always help our own. Our adopters become an extension of our family and we were absolutely devastated to hear this news....

We promised Crystal's family that we would take good care of Raven until another adopter comes along that will love her as much as Crystal did. Raven is now back up for adoption and looking for another loving home.

Raven can be a little timid at first with other dogs, but after proper intros and a shutdown period for her and the other dog, she is fine. She has lived with other dogs previously.

Raven is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, heartworm tested, and on monthly heartworm prevention.

Our Adoption Process...

Congratulations! Although, having a pit bull type dog is not for everybody. Unfortunately, breed discrimination is common; you need to stay positive and educate people when they criticize your companion. Renters struggle with finding pit bull friendly housing and some home insurance carriers won't cover them. Because we know how challenging it can be to navigate people's biases and misconceptions, we ask that you fulfill these requirements in order to adopt one of our dogs:

Be at least 21 years old.

Be able to meet the dog in question as well as do meet-and-greets with current pets. We do not ship dogs.

We adopt dogs 6 months and older within a 4 hour radius of our central location of Southampton, PA and pups under 6 months within 2-3 hours of our central location of Southampton, PA.
