Delilah's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Delilah's Story...
My name is Delilah and I'm a 5 year old, 14 pound Shi Tzu mix. I came to No Wagging Tail Left Behind from a family who had me as a companion dog for their special needs child. After a month they realized she was not ready for an animal. I liked being with the family and kids- I'm a happy-go-lucky dog who loves everyone! I'm now in a foster home where I fit right in and get along with the other dogs and people. I enjoy my walks (I'm told that I have good leash manners) and I think car rides are the best. I'm potty trained and my favorite place to sleep is in the bed with my people. If you're looking for a sweet and friendly companion then I might just be your dog!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Delilah, a San Diego Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
