Baby Girl's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and good with cats.

Baby Girl's Story...
This very sweet girl loves to go on walks. She loves the cats but isn't too fond of dogs. She would make an excellent therapy dog, especially after her visit to a local nursing home where she had several folks fall in love with her! She is house trained and just give her a good bone, and she is happy for several hours!

Fully vetted and microchipped!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Baby Girl, a Baton Rouge Retriever (Unknown Type)/Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Chow Chow for sale in Baton Rouge, or seeking a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Chow Chow dog from a breeder in Baton Rouge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baton Rouge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baton Rouge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Retriever (Unknown Type)/Chow Chow breeders who help with Retriever (Unknown Type)/Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baton Rouge paves the way for another one to be saved.
