Cashmere is such a sweetheart! But this poor girl sure had a rough holiday. She was rescued in
November from Maricopa County Animal Care and Control after they sent out a medical plea for help.
They think Cashmere had been hit by a car. Luckily, nothing was broken, but the vet thinks that
Cashmere recently gave birth to puppies. In addition, she just recovered from a massive infection
throughout her body.
But through it all, Cashmere has been the sweetest, kindest companion one could ask for. She’s been in
a foster home with our adoption coordinator who reports that Cashmere is absolutely adorable.
This girl had some weakness in her back legs when she came in, but she has recovered nicely and even
plays with six other dogs ranging in size at her foster home. She loves to play ball and chew on her
bones. And her foster says she’s ALWAYS wagging her tail and happy.
She’s not a super active girl and would do best in a low-to-mid energy home. She does well with other
dogs upon proper introduction. If you’re looking for a sweet, easy-going companion like Cashmere,
please fill out our
to get the approval process started. We will only schedule meet and
greets with an approved application. All staff members are volunteers and are not compensated for
their time and expenses. Many juggle family and full-time careers while volunteering at Saving Paws.
Please be patient, as sometimes it takes up to 5 days to process an application.
