Bandi's Story...
Bandi is a 5 month old shepherd mix that is as sweet as can be! Right now she weighs about 25 lbs. She is still a puppy so she has some energy and needs some training. We are still working on her being house trained but she is crate trained and already knows some basic commands like sit, down and come. She is very quiet for a puppy and is the happiest when she can snuggle up to you and be petted. Bandi is very friendly and playful with other dogs but has not yet been tested around cats. She is very calm on walks and does not pull on the leash. If Bandi's adorable face and funny ears do not melt your heart right away, her loveable personality sure will!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bandi, a Manhattan Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Belgian Malinois puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Belgian Malinois for sale in Manhattan, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Belgian Malinois puppy from a breeder in Manhattan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manhattan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manhattan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Belgian Malinois breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Belgian Malinois rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Manhattan paves the way for another one to be saved.
