Meet Snoopy. We thought we might need to spin this post to beg for sympathy for this guy because he isn't the conventional cute that adopters are often looking for. However, we think his uniqueness is exactly what makes him so stinkin' adorable. Snoopy is one of the last dogs to be pulled from the shelter from the hoarding case in mid-October. Now that we have him in foster care, it's almost painful to think that this awesome guy was passed over for so long. He is a 10-year-old chihuahua mix. We were told he was a fullblooded, but those long legs and larger than normal body (14 pounds!) makes it clear that he has more than chihuahua in in his genes. We are guessing he is a Chihuahua / Italian Greyhound mix.

Snoopy has an all-star personality that really has won us over. He gets along great with other dogs and has even been around larger dogs although dogs more his size are more his thing. Snoopy was introduced to cats at the shelter and was completely indifferent to them. Snoopy hasn't been around small kids with us, but he could do well with kids who are patient and gentle.

Snoopy is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped. He is using a belly band in his foster home when unsupervised and is doing great with it. He is crate trained and pretty quiet all around. Snoopy has also had some dental work done.

If you would like to offer Snoopy a forever home please complete an application on our website at www.pawswapofgreaterlafayette.com/adopting. His adoption fee is $125.

About PawSwaP of Greater Lafayette

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a rescue/ rhoming service that provides education and assistance for owners in our community to keep pets in their home. When that is not an option or we come across animals in need, we will take them into our foster-based program, work with them, seek all necessary vetting, and find them the perfect home.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We do various adoption events in the community. If you would like to meet one of our available adoptables, please email us! pawswapofgreaterlafayette@aol.com

Our Adoption Process...

The first step in the adoption process is to complete the adoption application on our website. Once we have reviewed the applications, we will contact the potential adopters to arrange a meet and greet. This can take several days depending on the popularity of the animal.
