Gunner's Info...

Gunner's Story...
Hi, I'm Gunner! I'm a little over 1-year old, neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped. I'm a black and tan boy with a large, muscular build. I've been at Char-Wills for a couple of weeks now, and they've gotten to know me a lot better.

While I do well on my walks with the volunteers, I need more training when it comes to meeting new people. New situations and unfamiliar people make me a bit nervous. For these reasons, the folks here feel that I need to be adopted to an adult-only family (No Children). I also need someone who will be dedicated to teaching me how to properly behave in new situations.

I get along well with the large-breed female dogs that I've met here. I ride well in the car, and enjoy to chase balls & chew on sticks. I love treats too, and take them very gently.

Thank you for reading about me. ~Gunner

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gunner, a New Ringgold German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in New Ringgold, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in New Ringgold.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Ringgold already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Ringgold breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Ringgold paves the way for another one to be saved.
