From Sage's foster mom: Sweet Sage is a 6-year-old Pit Bull who is GREAT with kids and adults but not other animals. Her owner had her since she was a puppy but he was living in an unsafe neighborhood so he moved but couldn't find anywhere that would let him have a pit bull. He couldn't find a rescue that would take Sage so he was going to call animal control to come pick her up. I said I'd take her temporarily & try to find her somewhere safe for her so she didn't have to be put down.
Sage is a sweet girl and is so cute - she is housebroken and knows basic commands like sit, lay down, stay, come, etc. She has been spayed and is now up to date on her shots. She just needs someone to take her in & give her a chance to love them!
I'm located in Hawthorne, NJ and I can be reached by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or my cell: 201.468.3423 - please help us get Sage to a safe and loving home. We do not want to see her end up in a shelter.
