Quiet, reserved, independent San Juan is a pretty little black and white tuxedo girl. This little lady knows what she wants, and likes to do her own thing. She especially loves climbing, perching up high, and exploring hidey holes. She occasionally enjoys hanging out with her other kitty friends, but will then want some alone time. San Juan is still shy and wary of adults, kids, and dogs. She may slowly warm up to adults as she gains trust in them and in her environment. She has good litter and scratching manners, but we do not even speak of nail trims, let alone attempt them. She will run and hide if she sees you with nail clippers. She's pretty quiet, though she will occasionally meow to remind you that it's time for breakfast. San Juan would do best in a quiet home with a cat-experienced adult or two who can gently encourage her to keep coming out of his shell while still respecting her independence. All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
