Hi my name is Gilligan. I am a 10 lb adult kitty and you can call me Gilly. Before I came into the rescue, I lived in a house and had a family, but one day I found myself on the streets and I couldn't go back home. Luckily, a volunteer began to care for me and here I am, ready again to find my forever home! I am a glorious big boy who loves to be petted and having my coat brushed makes me drool! I enjoy the company of my foster family, the kids and cats that is. I'm still unsure about the two dogs that live there.
I would love to go to a quiet home with a family who is willing to give me time to adapt. Being on the streets made me feel unsure of myself and I need extra time to build my confidence in new places. I don't really need any cat friends but I don't mind a calm, quiet one and maybe even a dog if it gives me my space. I love food, both wet and dry and I like boxes and cat beds for hiding and sleeping. My favorite toy is whatever pets me and I really do drool when I am being treated to a good brushing!
My best day would be one where my human comes home and sits down to pet me for a little while. I like to be talked to and am a great listener. A little quality time is all I need (and my fur brushed!). and I am a happy guy!
