Casper's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Casper's Story...
This is Casper, 12 month, 57.50 pound Lab/ Boxer Mix. He was saved by a friend after a Craig's List purchase went wrong. He may have been abused and was the only way his female owner could save him. He is doing great inside house crated but prefers to be with people. No accidents inside. He will shy away from loud noises, swinging objects and loud male voices. He walks well on leash. Not very good at ball. Good with other dogs/cats. Has met toddlers and infant without issues. Casper is fully vaccinated, neutered, dewormed and heart worm negative! His adoption fee is $150.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Casper, a Attalla Labrador Retriever/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Boxer for sale in Attalla, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Boxer dog from a breeder in Attalla.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Attalla already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Attalla breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Boxer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Attalla paves the way for another one to be saved.
