My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We would like to introduce you to the newest member of the Bullpen, Chase. This adorable 10 month old English Mastiff was seized from someone's backyard kennel because he was obviously being neglected. When he arrived at the shelter, he barely weighed 50 lbs. and had almost no hair on his body due to demodex mange. Up until recently, we were unsure of what color his fur was much less what breed dog he was. Despite being neglected, Chase shows no signs of animosity and loves everyone and everything that he comes in contact with. He is good with other dogs, cats, and even small children. He is housebroken, crate trained, knows basic commands and has just about perfected walking on the leash without pulling to say hello to other dogs. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heart worm negative, and micro-chipped. If you are interested in Chase or any of our other dogs, please feel free to email us at: info@bullpenrescue.org.

We highly recommend that our potential adopters fill out an online application as soon as possible, as it greatly expedites the process of finding the right dog for your situation. The adoption app is available on our website (www.bullpenrescue.org) under the 'work with us' tab. If you choose not to fill out an application before inquiring about a particular dog, please briefly tell us about yourself, family, and lifestyle since this will help us determine if the dog you’re interested in is a good match.

Our dogs are available for adoption nationwide but preference is given to adopters willing to do an in-person meeting. Please understand that our dogs are not adopted on a first-come, first-serve basis, but rather we strive for a “perfect placement” so we know that they will not be failed again.
