Ollie - N - ADOPTION PENDING's Story...
Introducing Ollie. He’s one of the sweetest dachshunds you’ll ever meet. His whole life is one of love, friendliness and acceptance towards other dogs, cats and, of course, people. He's a real lover. He's also completely healthy, loves to take long walks on a leash, run in the yard and explore, and ride in the car. He’s crate-trained but can use some additional work on complete house-breaking as he's always had free access to a back yard. He loves being around lots of other dogs and people in social settings. He received basic training in 2008 and still knows and obeys the basic commands. The only reason he's available for adoption now is that his current family would like for him to have a loving family and home where he can receive more attention and exercise than they are now able give him. If interested in this adorable, sweet boy, please contact RickyC68@aol.com and please include a phone number where you can be reached. Thank you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ollie - N - ADOPTION PENDING, a Huntington Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Huntington, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Huntington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntington paves the way for another one to be saved.
