My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chester is approx 1 year old and 23 lbs. He looks like a welsh terrier/schnauzer mix. He is areally sweet dog who is a little shy at first, but warms up quickly. He likes to be around people or other dogs, so he would love a companion as a buddy, and not spending all day alone. He has a really nice disposition. He is a very quiet dog, who is very smart and is food motivated (hence be careful with food on the counters!). He is not fully house broken but getting there and does pretty well on a leash. He loves lying at your feet or being close by when you are working, He is a really nice dog.

The total adoption donation of $475 and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. We also provide a coupon for a free wellness visit to the South Wilton Vet group if convenient for you. Some of our dogs are still in Texas in foster care. Our application is online at http://houstonshaggydogrescue.org/application-process/
