Here's what the humans have to say about me:
2/15/2017:LADDIE HAS BEEN ADOPTED!Laddie is approx. 1 year old and we believe a lab/sharpei mix. Laddie is medium sized and is a sweet boy. We were contacted by his elderly parents who had found him as a stray. They had tried to keep him and take care of him but then his elderly dad became ill and his mom was not able to take care of both Laddie and his dad. Although it broke their heart, they asked for us to take him and find him a home where he could have a more active family and a family who could give him more attention. He was just too much dog for them and it became too difficult to care for him due to their health and age. Laddie has been an outside do, for the most part, but we were told that when the weather was bad he would get to go inside and slept in the bed with them. Although we do not guarantee him being housebroken, the couple did not report that he had any accidents while inside. Laddie also had a cat friend so he should do fine with cats. He has done fine with other dogs here as well and loves people. Because of his breed, he is an active boy and will need regular exercise/play and room to run. Laddie is leash trained so he should be a great jogging/walking/biking or running partner! Laddie will be neutered in mid-February(or sooner if we are lucky enough to get a cancellation opening on the surgery schedule) and will be ready to go to his forever home after his neuter. We feel that Laddie will make a great addition to any family! If interested in adoption Laddie, please fill out our adoption application and email your interest or feel free to call us @ (352)493-1255 for more information or to set up a meet and greet. Laddie's adoption fee will be $150 and will help to cover his neuter/vetting and cost of care while with us.
