Facts about Gemma

  • Breed: Dogo Argentino Mix
  • Color: White
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
  • Sex: Female
Gemma is still up for adoption with us at Center for Animal Rescue and Education, Southcoast after almost two years.

She is estimated to be around 5 years old now. She is not a beginners dog, but she would make an active person or couple a very fun buddy. She would love someone to take her hiking, running and exploring regularly. She's got endurance but is also pretty good at chilling out when it's necessary. She is equal parts goofy and drivey, which makes her a lot of fun to work with. She is not a super affectionate dog and falls more on the aloof side, but once she's bonded to you, she will give you some snugs and hugs :)

Gemma has been through extensive behavior modification to be the most adoptable dog she can. She knows basic obedience. She is crate and house trained. No kids, small animals or cats for this chick but she can live with most non confrontational dogs her own size. She will also come with lifelong training support.

If you think she could be your girl, please email us at misfitmuttstraining@gmail.com so we can get you set up with an application.
