Boomer's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Boomer's Story...
Up for adoption in Texas and New England, holy hot stuff, meet BOOMER!

Boomer tells us, "My name is Boomer. What’s yours? I am 82 lbs of hunk-a hunk-a burning love! I was quite the ladies’ man in my former life before Lucky Lab got a hold of me and told me that my “baby making” and “living outside” days were over!"

So yes, Lucky Lab robbed Boomer of his days spent, we believe, being a breeding stud, you can see why he may have been quite sought after. :) We told him he was going to get "tutored" at the vet... and after that this stud muffin had a career change.

Boomer is very quiet; he hardly ever makes a peep. He loves to have kids and other dogs to play with. His foster mom says he is just a little too curious about cats... so we may want to avoid a forever home with feline friends.

He loves to go for walks and play fetch and he loves squeaky toys too! He is a great hugger and his favorite thing to do is to snuggle on the couch. He is crate trained and house trained and he even have some manners training under his belt.

Boomer is about 5-6 years old, we may have mentioned he was neutered :), he's vaccinated and microchipped.

If you'd like to help Boomer with his career change to house dog resident stud muffin (we still tell him that, it's good for his ego) and have a couch he can crash on please apply at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boomer, a Brattleboro Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
