Look into my eyes! They are mesmerizing. You want to give me treats...lots of treats. My name is Jonas. I have eyes that search deep into your soul. I also have a personality that you can’t help but like. I can always put a smile on your face. I love to run free and have lots of energy so won't tire out on you. I love being around people and other dogs for play time. I am really excited to meet dogs and people and sometimes forget my best manners in all of the excitement, lessons are helping me to be better with these introductions. Another energetic friendly dog in the house would be great or a family that would enjoy spending time with me to get daily exercise. Fetch and keeping a watch over yard projects are some of my favorite things to do. I would love to have a fenced in back yard or access to an open area to run. Besides my eyes, did you see my ears? Those are cute too! And my tan eyebrows? You can tell that I am thinking really hard when they squish together. I am really good at sitting for treats and I love people and have made friends with the resident dog. I like the cat too. I like high fiving with her if she is on the other side of a gate or hanging out on the floor while she is up in her cat tree in the same room, although sometimes I do get a little excited to introduce myself if there are no boundaries between us, which she isn't always keen on, given my size and exuberance. I think I am getting the hang of this dog thing. My foster humans gave me my own house inside the big house (crate)! I am sooo lucky! I get to sleep in my little house at night and when my foster family is away. I am looking to move my little house into my new family’s big house. Did I mention I am cute?
Jonas is estimated to be 1 year old and 46 lbs. Since we don't know at all what doggy genes are in the dogs make up (we don't know who mom and dad are!), we are just guessing on breed.
All dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. They have all had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer, are treated for fleas, have a heartworm test if over 6 months old and are up to date on a heartworm preventative.
