My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Betty and I arrived at the shelter with 2 other female pit bulls and we were all pregnant and had a total of 21 puppies. Our situation was not a good one where one of us was kept in a bedroom, one in the basement and one in a closet. Lucky for us we were taken from the home because the owner was losing it and our next journey began at Friendship with the loving care of the staff and volunteers.

I’m only one year old and still have a lot of puppy traits and will require patience and training. I love to run and play catch, will bring the ball back and wait for you to throw it again. I walk very good on a leash and will stay by your side just waiting for a loving touch and a kind word of praise. All of my puppies have found their forever homes and I’m ready for mine.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
