Micky's Story...

Micky is a young- 3-5 year old male kitty who has quite the history. He likely had a home at some point or else he would not allow any human interaction. However, several years living in an industrial area on his own has taught him to be very weary of humans. His caretaker kindly brought him inside and provided for him. However, over the past couple months, she has had difficulties getting her current resident cat to accept Micky. Unfortunately, she cannot keep Micky. He currently only has a small room (with window viewing opportunities and daily interactions from his caretaker). He deserves more. He deserves a home of his own. His ideal home environment would be a quiet living area. It is unknown how he would do with other animals since he has had little interaction with "friendly" animals. Micky will require a considerable amount of work. However, he has already made tremendous improving and he deserves to experience a loving home. vaccinated, microchipped, tested for felv/fiv Adoption fee $50 Micky is located at Guardian Angel Veterinary Care. 873 Thornton Parkway Thornton, CO 80229

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Micky, a Denver Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Denver, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
