Hailey is ready for anything! If you want to run and play, she is ready! If you want to snuggle and get kisses, she is ready to do that too! She is pretty laid back most of the time and loves her belly rubbed. She is good on a leash but still needs some training. She enjoys running with her human and will be the perfect running partner! Hailey has been in training and made great progress, did you know continued training is free of charge when utilizing LDDR's trainers after adoption!? Hailey is fixed, UTD on shots, crate trained, house broken and microchipped. Hailey enjoys squirrels a little too much and will chase and bark at them. Hailey knows how to sit, shake, lay down, come, to go in her kennel, and roll over. Hailey LOVES to play fetch with a toy football (her favorite toy!). Hailey would love being an only dog as long as she gets enough exercise. Hailey will need a very slow introduction to other dogs. Hailey has tried to dig under her fence and will require supervision when not on a leash. Hailey talks back when she doesn't get her way and would love a lot of attention particularly from kids to play with! Hailey LOVES to go swimming! She thoroughly enjoys retrieving her water toys and running and jumping in the water. Hailey used to live with children and they adored her! Hailey does GREAT in the car and has done trips to other states with no problems. Hailey also does very well in her crate and would work in a household where she would need to be crated for up to 10 hours if needed for a work day. Hailey would be great for an active household! Hailey recently acquired a foster brother - who is a cat! Hailey is excited at times to chase the kitty, but has not harmed him. Hailey can easily not pay attention to the kitty most times, but this can be hard, as kitty loves to antagonize her! Does your home sound like one of these: an active runner, an active household with kids, a home where Hailey will be an only child getting lots of one on one time with her owner? If so, please consider Hailey today!â

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal.
The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label.
