Martin's Story...
We would like you to meet Martin!
Martin is a handsome 3 year old Pure bred Boxer. This boy came to our rescue extremely skinny and heart worm positive. The good news is he completed heart worm treatment and is cleared to be adopted!
Martin is your typical Boxer, a happy, enthusiastic, loving boy that is extremely people orientated. He is good with other dogs, and kids. Martin has not been cat tested at this time. He lived outside his whole life before he came to our rescue, so he will need his new family to continue to teach him how to be a proper gentlemen in the house and may benefit from a training class. He will do best in a home that is as high energy and excited about life as he is.
If you have room for Martin in your home and heart, please visit www.because4paws.org and fill out an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Martin, a Oxford Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Oxford, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Oxford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oxford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oxford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oxford paves the way for another one to be saved.
