Facts about Koda

  • Breed: German Shepherd Dog Mix
  • Color: Brindle - With White
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Female
Koda is an athletic, female shepherd mix - German Shepherd or Brindle Sheperd. Her coat is a gorgeous brindle with white chest and black mask - very striking. Koda is calm and relaxed in her kennel, but loves to run in our play yard. She should have fenced yard where she can play safely. She walks well on a leash, however, she is very strong so it should be an adult. Koda likes attention but is not demanding. She does need work on basic commands.

About Jackson County SPCA

About Our Shelter...

The jackson County SPCA shelters owner- relinquished dogs and cats. We are a private not-for-profit organization that operates solely on donations and volunteer labor. We also manage a low cost spay/neuter program for low income households who otherwise would not have their dogs sterilized.

Our Adoption Process...

Interested adopters visit our shelter to meet the pet and complete an adoption application. We then take the pet to our veterinarian to be spayed/neutered and adopter may pick up their new pet the day after surgery. Adopters who live more than one hour from our shelter may call and ask for an adoption interview by phone in leiu of the written application. Our adoption fees range from $90 to $200 and includes all vaccinations to date, sterilization surgery and heartworm testing and preventative.
