Marcia, Marcia, Marcia! No, we’re not talking about the Brady Bunch here. We have our own little Marcia, a sweet, affectionate, playful, and eager to please girl. She’s an 11 month old, 38 pound, pit mix who has the softest fur and the most striking white patches. She’s very good in her crate, loves other dogs, does well with cats and children, and would be thrilled to have a canine companion. Foster mom says that at 11 months old, Marcia is still a puppy at heart. She loves to play with her toys, her dog friends, and the children in her foster home. She’s learning her cues—when enough is enough—from dogs and children alike, and with her eager to please nature, she’s doing a wonderful job! Foster mom says that Marcia will make an excellent hiking or running companion, but that she is also an excellent couch buddy, and she will keep you warm on these cold Vermont days. Marcia walks well on her leash, sleeps the night in her crate, and naps there during the day, and is almost 100% house trained. She spent the bulk of her life in a shelter, so she’s really enjoying life in a home with people who care for her every day! Foster mom feels that the family who adopts Marcia will be very pleased with the sweet and affectionate girl they’ve added to their family!
