My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fergie is nearly 6 and is a retired racer and brood mom. She appears to do fine with cats and small dogs. Fergie arrived from Kansas with her sister, Pippi.

On spa day, I had a nice bath, then the peoples took me for an informative tour around the facility and gave me a message. I was in heaven leaning on Auntie Dawne, and so relaxed my tongue escaped briefly. I love attention, but I'm calm and sweet about it, not pushy.

You all have already met my sister Pippi. We'll be 6 years old in March. I ran 104 races before returning to the farm in Kansas to be a mommy dog. We both jumped at the chance to be pet doggies in Arizona. Pippi won a foster home on our first day here, the little twerp.

Although I love my new apartment at Lazy Grey and all of my neighbors, I'm ready to move to foster too. I'm having no puppies surgery on February 6, then off to foster I go!! I can't wait to meet foster mommy and learn about being a pet greyhound. I'll have a live-in greyhound mentor.

FOSTER UPDATE:

Fergie settled in quickly. She enjoys playing with her greyhound foster sister, Pebbles, and loves Molly the cat too. Fergie has discovered toys and loves to play empty the toy box. She's a great dog.
