My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Maximus. I am currently living in a foster home in Jefferson, Wisconsin.

I was rescued off the streets of Houston and I was a mess when my foster mom found me. She cleaned me up and even gave me a nice haircut to get rid of all my mats. I am a Poodle and Maltese Mix. I am crate trained and am doing amazing on housebreaking. When my foster mom leaves, she either puts me in my crate or leaves me out because I am such a good boy and only nap while she is gone.
I get along great with other dogs and have even met a cat but she wasn't very interesting to me. I do like all humans, of every age and size. Humans are my favorite. I currently sleep with my foster parents in bed and I usually do not move until it morning and they get up for work. I love going on walks and my mom always tells me that I am such a good boy. I love cuddling with my humans but I also like to have some space sometimes. My favorite thing to do is to run. I can run along a bike or with a human running partner.

Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once
approved a meet and greet with the dog. Please note that preference is given to adopters in
Wisconsin, but out of state adoptions will be considered. Adoption fee is $250.
