Charlie's Story...
6 months old
Watch out because here he comes! Charlie came to our shelter when he was left at a friend’s house and his owner didn’t come back for him. This little pistol is full of life and just wants to go go go. Charlie is a fun and friendly guy who has things to do and places to be. When you first meet him he is likely to buzz all around the room, sniffing everything and finding toys to play with. Once he makes his way over to you prepare for an attack of kisses then have him be on the other side of the room before you have time to wipe your face. Charlie is a blast to have around and he can’t wait to find his forever family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie, a Fruit Heights Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua for sale in Fruit Heights, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Fruit Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fruit Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fruit Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fruit Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
