Mary Jane's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Mary Jane's Story...
Ebony beauty that has it all-- a gorgeous coat, pretty eyes, and a heart for a family! I am sweet girl, loving, and smart. I was, originally, with a homeless couple who eventually found housing and had a baby. The couple just couldn't take care of me once the baby came along. So, some local rescuers jumped in to help! At my foster home, I am happy to snuggle on the sofa or get cozy in a doggie bed.

How is the dog with other pets?

I have been to doggie daycare with lots of running and playing with other dogs. I love walking with other dogs and playing with them, but inside my house, I need to be the queen so no other dogs, please! I, currently, live with a cat, we have a love-hate relationship but I do not harm him.

How is the dog with children?

I have not met many children except for a few while on a walk. I was happy to receive pets from them. I would surely be fine would older children.

Forever home?

My passion is time with humans, car rides, walks and adventure hikes! Would you like a sweet, earnest, active young dog to add to your family?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mary Jane, a Colorado Springs Labrador Retriever/American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/American Bulldog for sale in Colorado Springs, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Colorado Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colorado Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colorado Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/American Bulldog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colorado Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
