Huckleberry's Story...
Huckleberry is a 6-8 month old mix breed ( about 30 pounds) who has lots of love to share. He LOVES toys and to lay on the couch or cuddle in a dog bed. He also loves to play with other dogs. He does well in a crate and great on car rides.

Huckleberry has been seen by a vet and deamed healthy to his/her knowledge and is current on all vaccines, has been microchipped and altered.
An adoption application is required via email prior to meeting any Hope 4 Paws dog in its foster home. In most cases, breeds stated in the posting are merely our best educated guess as we do not know the history of many dogs that come into the rescue. The adoption application is available at www.hope4paws.com. The application can be emailed to Jeanne at jeanne@hope4paws.com The adoption fee of $300 covers all vetting expenses.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Huckleberry, a Plainfield Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Plainfield, or seeking a Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Plainfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plainfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plainfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plainfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
