Facts about Gracie

  • Breed: Labrador Retriever Mix
  • Color: Tan/Yellow/Fawn
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Female
Gracie is a Lab mix, just 1.5 years old weighing 42 pounds and she is a loving dog. She loves her people but is more comfortable with all her dog pals. She would love a home with more than one furry friend and lots of space to run and play. But Gracie does not like felines. Gracie can be fearful of new situations and new people so best in a home where there are no children and children’s friends visiting. She needs to have an experienced owner that has patience and knows how to bring out the best qualities of Gracie with affirmative training and work to reduce her fear in new situations. Rescued by our sister organization in Mexico, Gracie has been spayed, dewormed and fully vaccinated. She has made her way into foster care in Seattle, WA, which can be a quick ferry ride for potential adopters from Vancouver Island. If you are interested in adopting this lovely girl, contact us at info.pvca@gmail.com for an application.

About PVCA Victoria British Columbia

About Our Rescue Group...

PVCA Animal Rescue is the sister organization of the SPCA Puerto Vallarta in Mexico. We facilitate the transportation and adoption of rescue dogs into loving forever homes. PVCA is a network of volunteers, transporters, and foster homes. The mission of SPCA de PV is to help fund and promote sterilization, adoption and healthcare efforts for companion animals in the Puerto Vallarta area, with the goal of eliminating the euthanasia of healthy and adoptable animals. SPCA de PV is not supported by the government, corporations, foundations or businesses. The dogs & cats of Mexico are too often found living on the streets after being discarded and/or extremely abused. We devote ourselves to their physical and emotional rehabilitation and invite everyone to come and interact with the animals at our sanctuary. Compassion Knows No Boundaries!

Our Adoption Process...

We screen all applications and in most cases require a home check prior to placement. An approved adoption application must be on file before meetings are set up, as our dogs are in foster homes. We charge a $250USD adoption fee. We routinely follow up with a visit or at least a phone call after placement. We solicit follow up photos and publish adoptions in our weekly newsletter.
