Jolene's Story...
Super Sweet and gets along with other dogs

Meet Jolene!  She is a 8-9 month old Lab mix. She is a really nice girl. Loves attention and loves to play with other dogs.  She is crate trained and we are working on the house breaking as she has only been in foster care for a few days now. She used to live in a home with order kids and young adults.  She would love a running buddy or a yard to play in.

This animal is up to date on all shots, dewormed, and spayed/neutered. They have been heartworm tested (negative) and on prevention.  The adoption fee is $250.00 If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jolene, a Akron Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Akron, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Akron.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Akron already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Akron breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Akron paves the way for another one to be saved.
