Facts about Kia

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: White (Mostly)
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: GMS Robin
  • Hair: Short
Kia is a SUN Cat because she hides at adoption events and people don't get to see how lovely she really is! In a new home she will likely hide for a while. But with love and gentle attention, she will blossom and show you that she is a very sweet kitty.
Kia is the Grace Kelly of cats! At 3 years of age, she is lady-like, serene and elegant. Her green eyes are mesmerizing! Kia gets along well with other cats and dogs too and would do best paired with another gentle and calm cat or cat-friendly dog.

Conner's Cause is sponsored by Give Me Shelter Project, Inc. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue, education and advocacy organization. You can learn more about Give Me Shelter Project by visiting our website:

Conner’s Cause is an initiative that Give Me Shelter Project has launched to try to find loving forever homes for the Supposedly Unadoptable Cats that currently reside in animal shelters and with rescue groups.

Our organization has generally defined "supposedly unadoptable cats" as those who range in temperament from semi-friendly to semi-feral. For the purposes of this initiative, we have broadened our definition of “supposedly unadoptable cats” to include other categories of cats that are difficult to place in adoptive homes. These include: seniors, handicapped, FIV+, FeLV+, cats with treatable and untreatable illnesses.

We invite you to consider adopting a "Supposedly Unadoptable Cat". Please join “Conner’s Cause” and BRING HOME THE MAGIC!

Our Adoption Process...

You will be asked to fill out an adoption application and generally a telephone interview will follow. Next, a home visit will be performed to help "ready" your home for the new cat(s).

Supposedly Unadoptable Cats are special and we require adopters for this particular group of cats to be experienced cat people.

While we hope that the commitment you make will be life long, all cats adopted out through this initiative will be returnable for the life of the cat.
