Dear potential forever family,
Hi, I’m Kiwi… a pint-sized buddy with a big heart. I’m a 5.5-pound, 7 to 8-year-old poodle with a lot of love to give and seek a forever mum or dad who desires a constant companion. I adore cuddling up to you and want to be by my person most, if not all of the time. I prefer to sit on your lap or enjoy being carried in your loving arms. I’m also great on a leash and am very well behaved on social outings. I’m super friendly, so you’ll have to make sure I’m always safe since a bigger dog could hurt me if they’re too ruff. I have a favorite stuffed bunny I like to play with, otherwise I mostly enjoy giving kisses or soft nuzzles. I’d like to be in a home with another dog buddy, if they’re gentle, but I’d also be A-OK with just you… as long as I’m not on my own for extended periods of time. When we meet, you’ll notice right away how smart I am. I’m of course potty-trained and I’ve already learned “sit” “high five” “up” “sit pretty” and “lay down.” My forever parent must also want to share their bed with me because I like to sleep as close as possible to you, at least that’s how I feel safest. I have medium energy most of the time and LOVE going on walks. I’m in good health now that I’ve had a dental… most of my teeth had to be removed, but other than eating soft food, not much has changed. Other than that, it’s really important my new parent understands how small I am and sets me up for success so I’m kept safe and protected.
