Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Comet. He is a 2-3 year male tri-colored Border Collie / Aussie mix. Comet is very loving and quite a goof ball. He lacks manners, so he would need some proper obedience training on him. For the most part, he gets along with other dogs, but he did demonstrate some snarky behavior with a female in our program. We did not observe who started it, but the scuffle was over as quickly as it started. He was recently neutered, so perhaps some testosterone is still working out of his system. Comet is very engaging and seeks your attention. He does not appear to be leash reactive with other dogs. Comet can be placed as an only dog. Continued socialization with other dogs is recommended so that he becomes well adjusted.
If you are interested in meeting our dogs, please go on line and fill out an adoption application. We require a pre-approved application to be on file before any meet and greets are scheduled. The electronic application can be found on our website at http://www.bordercolliesinneed.org/border_collie_rescue_and_adoptions/adoption_application.html
