Hi my name is Sheba and I am considered a Sun Cat because I remain semi feral. I came to the crazy
cat lady's house after being trapped and taken from a colony with my litter where cats were being poisoned, yikes, I guess we dodged a bullet. All my babies have been socialized and went for adoption and I stayed with the nice cat lady, she says she didn't want me at risk :0)
I have decided being inside with heat , sunny windows and the biggest cat bed ever (only when the lady is not in it ) lol that life is good. I play well with the other cats and discovered toys aren't just for kittens, they are for mommas that don't have to worry anymore too. I will do well in a home that just lets me be, I am good with other cats and could be a great companion kitty for your family feline.

Conner's Cause is sponsored by Give Me Shelter Project, Inc. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue, education and advocacy organization. You can learn more about Give Me Shelter Project by visiting our website:

Conner’s Cause is an initiative that Give Me Shelter Project has launched to try to find loving forever homes for the Supposedly Unadoptable Cats that currently reside in animal shelters and with rescue groups.

Our organization has generally defined "supposedly unadoptable cats" as those who range in temperament from semi-friendly to semi-feral. For the purposes of this initiative, we have broadened our definition of “supposedly unadoptable cats” to include other categories of cats that are difficult to place in adoptive homes. These include: seniors, handicapped, FIV+, FeLV+, cats with treatable and untreatable illnesses.

We invite you to consider adopting a "Supposedly Unadoptable Cat". Please join “Conner’s Cause” and BRING HOME THE MAGIC!

Our Adoption Process...

You will be asked to fill out an adoption application and generally a telephone interview will follow. Next, a home visit will be performed to help "ready" your home for the new cat(s).

Supposedly Unadoptable Cats are special and we require adopters for this particular group of cats to be experienced cat people.

While we hope that the commitment you make will be life long, all cats adopted out through this initiative will be returnable for the life of the cat.
