River's Story...
River is a 2 year old Carolina Dog/Boxer mix. He gets along great with everyone, but is a little high energy so he would probably do best in a home with older children. He is a big goof ball who is very motivated to play, run, and will keep you on your toes. Needs a fenced in yard to run, or someone willing to leash run him often. He is crate trained and does wonderful in a crate. He is almost fully housebroken. He never knew manners in his past life, but he is now confident and happy guy.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ME, PLEASE FILL OUT AN APPLICATION (http://goo.gl/VLKtYw). Please do not call about the dog. Our adoption donation is $300 per dog unless otherwise stated. Our dogs are up to date on vaccines and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. Please also visit our website for adoption events, fundraisers and other news. www.RecycledTails.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

River, a Pottstown Carolina Dog/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Carolina Dog/Boxer for sale in Pottstown, or seeking a Carolina Dog/Boxer dog from a breeder in Pottstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pottstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pottstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Carolina Dog/Boxer breeders who help with Carolina Dog/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pottstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
