Paige's Story...
Just like we monitor our local, busy, high kill shelters, we also try to watch the rural shelters where pups are equally doomed. Many of those shelters have very low visitation and puppies and dogs are waiting for adopters that just aren't coming. Paige and her siblings found themselves in exactly this situation. Fortunately we happened to find them and had enough fosters available that we were able to bring the whole litter with us and out of the awful conditions they were having to endure. Paige has been with her loving foster for the last few weeks and is now ready to find her forever family. If you are interested in Paige please contact us today. Her adoption fee is $500 and includes 2 rounds of vaccinations, spay surgery and microchipping, all vetting necessary while in our care and transportation to your area.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Paige, a Brattleboro Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
