Guinea Pigs are most likely to be active during the day and live between 5-8 years.. They can grow up to 12 inches long. Most guinea pigs are gentle, social and enjoy the companionship of other guinea pigs.
A 30 inch habitat for single guinea pigs or a 40 inch habitat for pairs is recommended. Guinea pigs prefer multilevel homes the provide extra space and exercise. Paper bedding is recommended. A hiding house, chew toys, food dish, water dish and hay manger should be provided for your guinea pig.
