JR's Story...
JR is a sweetheart and a couple of the pictures are of him at the high kill shelter he was saved from the other 2 are in his foster home. He is a bit of a wiggle bum and we wanted to show just how beautiful he is and the shelter pictures were not bad. He is in a foster home with dogs that range from 4lbs to 100lbs and a cat. He will actually play with the 4lbs Yorkiepoo at his foster home more than anyone else. He actually came from a high kill shelter in TX and we saw the plea for him and saw that face, how can you not want to save that sweet face. He was a bit shy at the shelter which is why he did not get much attention. He has come out of his shell in his foster home. He was so thin when we got him and nothing a bit of food and wormer can't take care of. He is about 8 months old and 20lbs. He is not going to get much bigger. He looks like a little border collie so we guessed maybe having some beagle mixed in with him. He is great with everyone young and old. He is very quite and loves a cuddle. He is fully vetted meaning fixed, current on all shots, heartworm negative, micro chipped and on monthly prevention. He is close to perfect as you can get.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

JR, a Great Falls Border Collie/Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Beagle for sale in Great Falls, or seeking a Border Collie/Beagle puppy from a breeder in Great Falls.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Great Falls already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Great Falls breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Beagle breeders who help with Border Collie/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Great Falls paves the way for another one to be saved.
