Pepper's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Pepper's Story...
Pepper is a lively and friendly girl who loves belly rubs. Pepper was surrendered by her owner who became too ill with Parkinson's and heart issues to care for her. Pepper has had all of her shots and she is spayed. Pepper's foster family discovered she loves scrambled eggs and gave Pepper two scrambled eggs each night for her dinner. Pepper is 12 months old and weighs just 14 pounds. Do you make good scrambled eggs? Then Pepper is for you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pepper, a Beacon Chihuahua/Whippet dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Whippet for sale in Beacon, or seeking a Chihuahua/Whippet dog from a breeder in Beacon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Beacon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Beacon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Whippet breeders who help with Chihuahua/Whippet rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Beacon paves the way for another one to be saved.
