Angel's Story...
Introducing Angel.

Angel and her siblings were living in a foxhole on a country farm in Mississippi before they were brought into our rescue. They were about 8 weeks old at time, and came to us dirty, covered in ticks, and very scared. Over the last couple of weeks, Angel warmed up quickly and is full of personality. She plays great with her foster mom's yorkies. She is about 12 weeks old right now, and should be expected to reach around 50 lbs. If you would like more information on Angel, please contact us and we'll send you an application. This sweet girl’s adoption fee includes her spay surgery, microchip, up to date vaccinations and monthly preventions, deworming, any other necessary vetting while in our care, and transportation from Memphis to your area upon adoption via Alpha Dog Transport.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Angel, a Memphis Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Memphis, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Memphis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Memphis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Memphis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Memphis paves the way for another one to be saved.
