My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jersey! Jersey is a beautiful 12 year old Sheltie gal that loves to be a cuddle-bug. She loves her people and gets along find with other dogs and cats. Jersey is perfectly house trained and walks well on the leash and very much enjoys her walks. She is enjoys meeting new folks and is very friendly and a loving companion. Jersey is a senior and would make a wonderful pup for anyone looking for a very settled companion that enjoys short walks and cuddles during movie night. Jersey does have a leg brace that she needs to wear during the daytime hours. This is due to an old leg injury that never healed properly and it helps keep her leg in proper form. Jersey walks just fine and does the stairs with her brace and this helps to support her ankle. All of Jersey's vetting will be completed in February.

Jersey will need a secure FENCED in yard as she likes to explore. No exceptions on the fenced in yard requirement. She is being fostered in the Reading, PA area. We are currently taking adoption applications for Jersey and you can download an application and find out more about our sheltie rescue organization at: pasheltierescue.org At this time, we are only accepting applications from within the state of PA or along the PA state line.
