Meet handsome Chico, an American Bulldog who is about 7 years old. When Chico's young owner moved to a place that did not allow dogs, her mother tried to keep him. Unfortunately her dog just did not like having another dog in the house so now Chico is at our kennel.
Poor Chico is now in the position of having to find another home. Listen to what a great dog he is! Chico is good with children as he lived in a home with toddlers. He gets along with other dogs, too. During a snow storm in New Jersey, Chico was fostered by a lady who has cats. Chico got to meet the cat, sniff it, but otherwise had no interest so he'd probably be OK in a home with a dog savvy cat. Chico is a lover - sure loves people.
Chico is a happy boy - he is also housebroken and crate trained, good in a car and walks well on a leash. He knows some basic commands, too - Sit, Paw, Lay down & Stay. Chico plays fetch, brings the ball back, and knows to drop it (wish my dog did that). Chico is a love bug who just wants to be in a home again. Being in a kennel is tough on this poor boy after so many years in a home. Chico is a gentle soul, not destructive, just looking to be loved.
