Sophie's Story...
Sophie & Johnny are 6 months young. They are short hair Tabbies. Sophie is lighter gray/white and more outgoing than her brother Johnny. Johnny is darker brown/white & a real softie. These kittens were abandoned at a shelter & they had colds, we're so skinny & so sad. Thankfully those days are gone!
These two kittens love to play & play. They're active & full of life!
They've been fostered with other friendly cats, kittens & sweet dogs too. Adopting them together would be ideal for Johnny. They're spayed/neutered, age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed & ready for their forever home.

Let us know if you'd like to meet Sophie & Johnny next weekend 2/12 at Petfood Express @ 320 S Lake Ave., Pasadena 91101. 11 to 4. Please fill out an application in advance as we are reviewing apps this week! Meet n' greet in your home will also be scheduled to ensure a good match with other companion animals in your home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sophie, a Pasadena Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Pasadena, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Pasadena.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pasadena already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pasadena breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pasadena paves the way for another one to be saved.
