My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rory and her sister Lorelai were taken from a neglectful situation. Because of their past, they are very attached to one another and must be adopted together. Lorelai is the merle colored pup and Rory is the white and brown one. They are approximately 3 years old.

Due to state laws regarding out of state adoptions, we cannot adopt to families in Massachusetts or Rhode Island.

They are currently being fostered in Mississippi and will be transported via PETS transport services upon adoption. Their adoption fee is $500 (for both dogs, not $500 each) and includes spay, age appropriate vaccinations, a nose to tail vet check, and transport costs.

Second Chances lists dogs as being available in Kittery, ME because we transport our dogs to Kittery every other week after they have been adopted. All of our local shelters have a high euthanasia rate due to overpopulation so we created our rescue group to primarily adopt to the northern states to help keep as many dogs as we can from entering our kill shelters.
