Diamond is a stunning pur-bred sable senior girl with a sad, sad story and we're hoping to find a home for her with someone who can appreciate a little maturity and wants to help this girl. Diamond was owned by the same person her whole life until a few months ago when the owner just couldn't keep her anymore. The two of them had been living in a van for a long time as he tried desperately to make things work. Unfortunately, he had to make the very tough decision that it would be better for Diamond if she found a more stable home.

Diamond may be an older girl, but you'd never know it from her personality! She's as sparkly as her name, loves people, and has the sweetest personality. Like all female German shepherds, she'd really prefer to be queen of the pack, but she won't mind having an older guy to pal around with. Diamond still has plenty of spring in her step, so no cats, please!

Can you give this girl a wonderful home to live out the rest of her years? Please help us help Diamond! About Canine Pet Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Canine Pet Rescue Corp (CPR)
is dedicated to reconditioning wayward dogs, inparticular German Shepherd Dogs, with the end goal of placing them in a stable environment, which harbors positive behaviors from the dog. Many times, a dog will remain in our program for months, until the right environment is found. CPR believes that quality over rides quantity. We advocate responsible pet ownership and believe that education is key to providing wayward canines a strong and successful life. We believe that canines can be therapists, teachers, motivators, and friends and the love of the DOG carries us to the goal of rescuing, rehabilitating, and training these misplaced canines. We are a small group, made up of various rescue individuals that assume the responsibility of caring for, providing medical care, rehabilitating, and training misplaced or owner surrendered canines. Many of the dogs within the organization have been mishandled or placed in the wrong environment and are in desperate need of mental stimulation, training, and a proper structure in their lives.

Come Meet Our Pets...

All appointments are scheduled between the adopter and one of our adoption counselors, after the application process is completed.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process begins with the adopter filling out our online adoption application. Vet references are checked first, as we have a stringent policy requiring all current and past pets to have proper vetting provided. After the vet reference is complete, personal references are contacted, and a home visit is scheduled with the adopter. Finally, the adopter is invited to meet all of the dogs that might be a fit for their home.

Fees range from $200 to $400.
